Bursaries Offered

The Places Matter Conference 2019 will take place on 27th and 28th March in the Bailey Allen Hall, NUI Galway.

Hosted by the Arts Council and local government, the conference will address the theme of Ireland’s rapidly changing demographics and ask: ‘how are we collectively responding in growing and diversifying our audiences and the artists that we work with’.

The conference is suitable for anyone interested in improving how we build inclusion in the arts based on the principles of inclusivity and equality.

Meath County Council Arts Office is offering 2 x travel bursaries of €150 each for artists working in culturally diverse contexts.

In order to apply for a bursary, please send an expression of interest to artsoffice@meathcoco.ie by 4pm on Wednesday 13th March briefly outlining how attending the conference will benefit you professionally.
