Meath County Council Arts Office is developing a series of workshops for artists over 55 in the run up to this year’s Bealtaine Festival. The theme for this year’s festival is collective action and activism tied in with the festival title All Together Now!
Meath County Council is intending on running a series of five visual arts workshops based on activism/ the art of dissent/alternative facts. The workshops will be facilitated by local artist, Jillian Gott and will run as follows:
Navan Library: Thursday March 9th – Thursday April 13th 2pm – 4pm
Kells Resource Centre: Tuesday March 14th- Tuesday April 11th 6.30pm -8.30pm
These workshops are free of charge and all materials will be provided.
The work produced at each location will become the Meath County Council Bealtaine Festival exhibition 2017 and will be exhibited in the Toradh Gallery, Ashbourne during May.
